Bob Wiley is a man who is extremely obsessive and has turned his life into a complete nightmare because of his obsessions. He decides that he can no longer live like this and needs to find a solution to his problem. The only thing he needs to do is to find a psychologist. However, the psychologists he finds cannot bear his obsessive and compulsive behavior and end up quitting being his doctor. The last psychologist cannot stand Bob either and refers him to another doctor, Dr. Leo Marvin. Unaware of what is to come, Marvin accepts Bob and gives him a psychology book he wrote to read while he will be on vacation with his family. However, Marvin is unaware that Bob will not leave him alone throughout the entire vacation. This vacation, which will turn into a complete chase, will become a nightmare for Marvin.
