Maki is a beautiful chameleon who lives alone in the picturesque Pearl Cove and is extremely happy about it. She takes great care of the cove and doesn’t allow anyone except the birds to enter. One morning, she wakes up to find trash dumped in the cove. She cleans up the trash, only to find it dumped again when she returns. The next day, and the next… Maki is tired and very angry. Unable to handle the trash alone, she reluctantly starts looking for her friends. However, some are still in hibernation, while others are migrating. Some don’t want to come because they were upset with Maki before, and some are too busy. Maki gets exhausted from cleaning up the trash alone every day and worries about how to ask her friends for help. Thanks to a music festival brochure that catches her eye, she realizes how she can attract the animals there.
