Johnny and Sarah, with their two daughters, have immigrated from Ireland to America. Together, they take their first steps into a brand new life in the new world. Johnny believes that he will fulfill his dream of becoming an actor here. The children, on the other hand, try to familiarize themselves with the new environment they will grow up in. As the family tries to adapt to the new country, they will also rediscover each other from a different perspective.
